Saint Mary s School is an independent girls boarding and day school that has been operational since 1842 The school serves more than 290 students in grades 9 through 12 It offers a range of over 15 advanced placement courses for individuals Saint Mary s School provides the Applying Tablets to Learning and Academic Success which provides tablet laptop to complement technology in the classroom and across campus The school offers meals transportation medication and guidance counseling services It also supports various sports activities such as soccer swimming tennis field hockey volleyball golf basketball track softball and lacrosse Saint Mary s School is a member of the North Carolina Independent School Athletic Association and the Triangle Independent School Athletic Association
