The mission of The Little Light House is to glorify God by improving the quality of life for children with special needs their families and their communities We accomplish this mission by providing tuitionfree educational and therapeutic services to children with special needs ages birth to six The Little Light House has been a part of Tulsa since October 3 1972 What began with one teacher five students and five volunteers has grown into a nationally recognized developmental center for children with special needs with over 40 staff members serving 94 students alongside many volunteers The LLH does not charge tuition and receives money only from private sources such as foundations and grants The LLH does not receive funding from government sources or the United Way

Little Light House is an education and learning center with a mission to glorify God by improving the quality of life for children with special needs, their families, and their communities. Serving children ages birth to six, Little Light House provides tuition-free educational and therapeutic services designed to support early development and strengthen families and local support networks. Since October 3, 1972, the organization has been part of Tulsa, growing from a small beginning—one teacher, five students, and five volunteers—into a nationally recognized developmental center. Today, it has more than 40 staff members serving 94 students, alongside many volunteers who help sustain the center’s work. Little Light House is funded only through private sources such as foundations and grants, with no tuition charges, and it does not receive government funding or support from the United Way. This private, tuition-free model helps ensure access to early educational and therapeutic care for families seeking specialized support.
