Welcome to East Nashville Magnet School located in the heart of the vibrant Historic East Nashville community Our school originally opened in 1932 and for the next four decades provided many of the leaders for Nashville the State of Tennessee and the United States Alumni of East Nashville High School have become leaders in government business entertainment and military service The East Nashville High School Alumni Association is housed on campus and is recognized as one of the largest alumni organizations in the United States Today East Nashville Magnet school embraces the Paideia philosphy of education Steeped in dialogue and experiential education our students particiate in regular seminars and project based learning opportunities We invite the Nashville community to engage in these activites with us
